Condolence From: Mark Kelly
Condolence: I think I laughed more and dreamed more with Bob than with any other friend. He was always positive and ready for the next adventure. One of my favorite computer buddies.

Condolence From: Conor Laraia
Condolence: When I was little I always wanted to play guitar, I eventually got a little guitar that I could play for fun for Christmas and I always played it. One day me and my family decided that I would take guitar lessons and bob was the only teacher that would allow me to learn at such a young age and he always encouraged me to do my best. I will always remember bob as an adult to look up too and as an outstanding music teacher to not only me, but all kids that had the chance to meet him.

Condolence From: Tammy and Taylor McNamara
Condolence: My deepest condolences to all of Bob's family, Bob was a great teacher, friend and for my daughter a second grandfather. He instilled in Taylor the love for music the will forever live on and for that I am forever in his debt. For me, a friend to a new person in town, a fellow veteran with whom I swapped war stories. We adored you Bob and your passing has left a whole in our hearts. You will be missed my friend, thank you for brining the music into our house and our hearts! Tammy and Taylor

Condolence From: Julie A. McGraw
Condolence: My sincerest, heartfelt condolences to Jamie & family, as well as everyone whose lives were touched by Bob's presence here among us. My son, Cullen, myself, & my family only knew Bob for about the last 2 years, but those 2 years left such an impact on us, that I cry as I type this. Bob was willing to start teaching Cullen to play guitar, drums, keyboard, & even a little violin, at only age 6. He inspired me to start playing saxophone again after 15 years, helped me get a saxophone, & now I am playing with the Shippensburg Town Band & the Shippensburg Swing Band--all because of him. He always had a joke or story to share, & became someone that we could talk to, confide in, or ask honest advice from. We truly came to view Bob as "framily," a friend who had become family, & loved him very much. Life will not be the same without him.

Condolence: Bob was an excellent trumpet player as a member of the CASHS Band and then continued as a life-long friend to talk about bands, drum corps, and music in general. Its' always tough to hear of the death of former students. I will always remember Bob with fondness. Go in peace!

Condolence From: Samuel Horton
Condolence: My deepest sympathies to Bob's Family! I knew Bob from high school in the Trojan Band. We both played trumpet. In recent years I would see him once in awhile at Sheetz on L.W.E. We would stop and chat for awhile about old times in the Trojan Band. Will miss seeing his friendly smile.

Condolence From: Glenn Lininger and Family
Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. My heart too is heavy with sadness. A good friend is gone. Bob touched the lives of three generations in my family. I know he touched many, many more lives. Whether having a lesson, jamming out or just talking, I enjoyed each visit with him. I have so many wonderful memories. He brought out the gift of music in me for which I am forever grateful. May God’s comfort and grace be with you during your time of grief. Every time I play guitar I will think of Bob.

Condolence: Dear Family of (BOB)as we knew him

So sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. We knew him many years ago, when he help with our Majorette and Drum corp,(The Marching Raders of Shippensburg) It was his and R Chaslick's music that was played by the corp. It was music that won parades and prizes for the group, but also keep them coming back to learn more. There were many young lives affected by the patience of his that, never seemed to run out. Like many of those young people we have lost contact with people like Bob. As our lives change and we all move on. the memories and the influnce of old friends
stay with us, and I'm sure you or I will never know all of those who's lives are better because they met him even for a short time. May God be with you in your grief and time of healing. God claimed one of the best to play his music in a better place, when he called him home.

Long ago friends with heartfelt memories
