Obituary for Kenneth W. Short
Kenneth W. Short, 83, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 14, 1935 in Chambersburg, the son of the late David Milton and Marion (Monn) Short. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. Kenneth enjoyed the Redskins, Horse racing and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Joan; five daughters: Kathy Wetzel (Ron), Missy Landis (deceased) (Larry), Flo Runyon (Billy), Kimberly McCarney (Mike), Julie Pepo (Maurice); son, Richard Bumbaugh; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great great and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service on Friday and from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening, April 26, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
