Dear Family,
Life is a gift from God. There is no doubt that death is an enemy. Is there any reason to believe that this age-old enemy will be brought to nothing? Yes, there is. God the Creator, did not make humans to live just a few years and then die. Human death was no part of his (God's) purpose. He intended for humans to live forever on a paradise earth, (Psalms 37:10,11,29) and what he purposes he accomplishes. (Isaiah 55:11) God has already arranged for us to be saved or rescued from death, and the central figure in that arrangement is God's Son, Jesus Christ. John 3:16; we do have a wonderful hope after all! You can find more comfort by going to jw.org.
