Obituary for Frances Eyer
Frances Eyer, 90, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. She was born on July 30, 1927, in Chambersburg, PA, the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Higgins) High. Frances graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1945, and she enjoyed knitting, reading, and taking trips to Atlantic City. She was a lifelong member of the Chambersburg Road Runners Club and a charter member of the Cumberland Valley Theatre Organ Society. She is survived by her son, Robert Eyer, Jr. (Francie Eyer); daughter, Suzanne Eyer (Dr. Marlys Palmer); grandchildren, Julie Booth, Jennifer Jamelli, and Jason Eyer; great-grandchildren, Alison and Adrienne Booth, Derek and Maria Jamelli, and Claire and Peyton Eyer. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eyer, Sr. A graveside funeral service for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 2nd at Norland Cemetery (2295 Philadelphia Avenue). Memorial contributions may be made to The Village of Laurel Run (6375 Chambersburg Road, Fayetteville).
