Obituary for Jennifer R. Moore
Jennifer "Gigi" R. Moore,66, passed away on Tues., Jan. 3, 2017 at the Chambersburg. Hospital. She was born July 24, 1950 in Waynesboro, PA, the daughter of the late Jack C. (Jan.19, 1983) and Mary June (Rook) (Mar. 16, 1972) Smith. After graduating from Waynesboro Area Senior High School, she worked at Thrift Drug & Eckerd Drug, as the Assistant Manager for 26 years, followed by 10 years at Citi Corps as a Customer Service Representative, retiring in 2010. In retirement she was starting to explore her crafty side, making ornaments for her grandchildren as keepsakes. "Gigi" loved her grandchildren, more than anything else on this Earth. Her greatest joy was being able to being able to see all of them at once at Cathy and Josh's house and just let them play and be kids, running around and have fun. She is survived by: Jonathan D. Moore, husband of 41 years; Joshua H. Moore, son; Cathy Z. Moore, daughter-in-law, all of Chambersburg; Deborah Freeman, sister, and her husband Samuel Freeman; Jody Smith, brother and his wife Marsha; 5 grandchildren: Angel Moore, Gabriella Moore, Isabelle Moore, Heath Moore, & Jordan Moore, along with other family and truly countless friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: son, Jared Moore, (Jun 17, 2014), brother, Jay Kriner, (Jan 12, 2006), grandparents, Raymond (Dec 11, 1973) and Elizabeth Flo (Simmers) Smith (Feb 26 1991).
Private viewing for family & friends will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 330-530 at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Jennifer would like to have contributions made to in her name for her granchildren's education, at F&M Trust.
