On September 25, 2017 David Lee Hills departed this life in Chambersburg, Pa. He was born on June 3, 1962 in St. Mathews, SC. He was raised in New York. David was the son of the late Robert and Lilly Hills. He moved to Chambersburg where he met Bishop Dr. Caroline McLean in 2011 and they were joined together in Holy Matrimony June 30, 2012. He is survived by his wife Bishop Dr. Caroline McLean, Pastor of his church Second Chance Ministry. He is also survived by four children, Maylin Mazzeo, Rahmell Mazzeo, Naquan Hills and Rakim Montgomery all of NY and 3 stepchildren Danita Ford, Antonio Peyton of Md and Crystal Peyton of Washington, DC and 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is survived by 6 sisters, Marie Scott, Shirley Harris, Sue Hills, Gerlisa Hills, Lawanda Hills and Shamecca Williams. One brother preceded him in death Robert Scott. He is survived by 3 brothers James Scott, Clarence Scott and Rodney McCloud of NY. He is also survived by five brother in laws, Benton Harris and Stacey Manning of NY and Wesley Kelley of Washington, DC, Eric Kelley of Pa. and Terry Kelley of Md. and six sister in laws, Ella Kelley and Linda Armwood of Pa. Annette Griffith Perry of Va., Bobbi Scott and Ogla Scott of NY and Barbara Scott of Va. He is survived by ten grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was someone's husband, father, brother, uncle and most of all a child of God. David accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and studied the Word of God at Second Chance School of Ministry. Once he completed his studies he was ordained as a Minister in 2014 by Second Chance Ministry. He was faithful in his attendance to the church until he became ill and was unable to attend.
