Obituary for Darlene K Eyer
Darlene Kathryn (Dyarman) Eyer, 70, of Chambersburg passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at at Thornwald Home in Carlisle. She was born April 22, 1947 in Shippensburg, the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Margaret Kathryn (Myers) Dyarman. She was a 1965 graduate of Shippensburg High School. Darlene was a long time member at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she previously taught as a Sunday School teacher, served on the Church Council and the Call Committee. She loved to sew, teach sewing, was a very good cook but her true joy was the time she spent playing with her grandchildren and have picnics in the park. She is survived by two sons: John Emory David Eyer Jr., Douglas Edward Eyer; five grandchildren: John Philip, Anna Kathryn, Kathryn Elizabeth, Allisyn Grace, Carolyn Marie; eight sisters and two brothers. Preceding her in death was her husband, John Emory David Eyer Sr. (1977) and one brother. The funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Ruth Smith officiating. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.sellersfuneralhome.com.
