Rosemarie Corapi, 84, died April 25, 2018 in the Chambersburg Hospital. She was born October 1, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Horvath) Bentivegna. She attended St. Matthews Elementary School and Catherine McHauley High School in Brooklyn. Rosemarie married Eugene Corapi on June 3, 1956 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Brooklyn. She worked as a bookkeeper at the Irving Trust Company, New York, NY from 1951-1958 before moving to Chambersburg in 1965. Rosemarie was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the Lincoln Lanes Wednesday Bowling League and a faithful fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Mets. In addition to her husband, she also is survived by her two sons and their children, Gene A. Corapi of Arlington, VA, and grandchildren Grace and Victoria and their mother, Sandra Corapi, and Dennis and his wife, Dawn of Hagerstown, MD, and grandchildren Elizabeth and Alex; one brother, Lou and his wife, Louise Bentivegna of Setauket, NY, and was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Grosso. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association or St. Judes Research Hospital. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. There will be a visitation Sunday evening, April 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
